In particular, it measures standard walking steps, cardiovascular exercise steps, calories burned, and distance traveled. Also included is a Dual-Axis functionality wherein the device can be placed either horizontally or vertically at the hip, in a pocket, or clipped to a bag. According to expert reviewers, the Omron HJ-720ITC is completely silent and highly accurate. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with an on/off switch or reset button; it automatically resets at midnight. Plus the pedometer is slightly larger than average.
